I am joining an national competition for photography. The qualifying rounds are in april and I will keep you guys updated of the work I made and if I made it. The competition is called: De kunstbende.

By the way: Twin peaks keeps amazing me. Everyone seems to be crazy and the music is pretty creepy. Who actually did kill Laura Palmer? (please don't answer that, I don't want to know it)

Small pieces of heaven

I don't know if this is a very good idea but I feel the need to post this. I subscribed to a some iconmakers on livejournal and I have to say: the icons they make are so pretty. I hate the fact that icons are only 100 x 100 but they capture almost a way of living. To me, personaly I adore those small images of inspiration. If you don't please ignore this post and live on. But because most of the time livejournalprofiles are private I feel the need to post this.

The party yesterday was pretty amazing. The music was a great combination of electro and some strange uptempo jazz music. I made a lot of photos and they turned out pretty good so I will upload them tomorow or tonight.

How I want my room to be

I'm planning to do a room-make-over in the next holiday (3 weeks away). I already collected some inspiration and I know exactly which furniture I want to buy and I have already bought photos and posters.

Paris, my love

I think I'll go to Paris next weekend. Its one of my favorite cities in the world and its only half a day away. We probably only going to make pictures because we all are to broke to shop.

How to make photos of yourself now?

My tripod is broken! I use it all the time and just when I decided to make some outfit shots it gave up. Its not possible to use different hides (sorry for my english I am still working on it) and that really sucks because now its really hard to make photos of myself.
I will go to a shop to get a new one but that will be on friday or saturday. So sorry to keep you guys waiting.

Lets party baby

I'm going out on friday. Finally: the last time I went out was two weeks ago! Me and two friends P. and S. are going to the Lichtfabriek. Its only good partymusic and no top40 music (I hate that) so it will be great. I already decided to wear my (I don't know the word for it) glitter-sweater from Zipper. Maybe I will bring my camera to make some photos but I don't know if it will fit in my small bag.

There is a runner in your tights

Although the cobra snake isn't my style at all: the ripped tights-trend is great! I love all the different styles you can do them. The wholes, the runners. I already tried both looks on my tights. It definetely works best on black tights because I tried it with red and it looked very ugly.

Twinpeaks is great

Actually I am pretty sick today so I'm not doing anything. I am watching Twin Peaks which is really great. I've watched the first three episodes now. I have saw the serie once before but that was a long time ago and I don't remember who killed Laura Palmer. We have both seasons on dvd today. And I don't have any homework to do so I might just watch the whole first season.

Cardigans

My love for cardigans is getting extreme. Right now I have about 17 cardigans and 12 sort-of-jackets. I already wrote I am planning to buy one from H&M and I also have a crush on a little, really cute one from Zara with very pretty buttons. After buying at least the one from H&M I like these a lot too.

Oh my love, I adore you

If I had a lot of money this baby would be mine. Its already on sale but its still €280. Which is ofcourse way to expensive for me. That said: I actually spend all the money I got this month. I am starting my new job tuesday but I only earn 7 euros a'day.

I know for a fact I will never, ever, touch this bag. And it will never, ever, be in my hands while I am walking trough the city.
With the money I am going to earn, by working in a supermarket, I will first buy a very cute hairy (!) cardigan from H&M. After that I will probably save some money for the holidays.

Although...

Although my birthday is in may ofcourse I already have a wishlist. I am still like a very little kid. I can't sleep the night before my birthday, I always make my wishlist in december immediately after Christmas, I count the days.

The things I want this year:
- lessons Swedish
- a new phone, my old one is pink and ugly!
- a gramophone (if that is the correct word)
- a holiday to New York, bin there last year I still miss it

All about everything and nothing

Didn't make any photos today! I had extra lessons maths like usual and after that I went to the vintage music store to buy new LP's. Bought The beatles, Rolling stones and some just for the covers.

My best friend was sick so we couldn't go photographing.

Other news I ordered three nylonbooks today. Fashion, street and play. There about fashion, streestyle photos and music. Really great.


Tomorow its officially weekend and I will make photos all day long.

High love

Want these, want these! But one little thing I don't remember from which site the image was.

They might be from H&M but I am not sure. Although these look way to high to walk the stairs of my school (they are really slippery). But I am pretty sure these would look great to walk trough the city or maybe even go to the supermarket.
I really want them but I also want to save money for shopping with one of my friends.

Someone feeling in the mood to donate? Just kidding ofcourse. ;]

By the way: I want to learn Swedish. All those great blogs are in Swedish and its freaking me out that I can't read it. Its like letting me shop without money.

It isn't easy

Gosh love isn't easy. Broke up with my sort-of boyfriend yesterday. He was really making me sick. But the good news: I love the freedom.

Polyvore

I just discovered Polyvore... and I love it. Its really great to put all this great stuff together. And it definetely shows my taste at this moment. I decided I am going to make at least one each month so I can see how my style and taste changes all the time.


Because I am so busy and days turn dark really soon I don't have a lot of time to make photos. To bad because that means I can only photograph in weekends.
